The Gorman-Rupp Company

Gorman-Rupp was founded in March 1933 by J.C. Gorman and Herb Rupp, two entrepreneurs who had a chance encounter on the streets of Mansfield, Ohio.  That meeting was the formation of what would eventually become one of the premier pump manufacturing organizations in America - and one that would have worldwide impact.

That vision grew through the years and today, Gorman-Rupp Company occupies millions of square feet of manufacturing, warehousing and distribution facilities all over the globe.  

For more than 80 years, Gorman-Rupp has manufactured the high performance, high quality pumps and pumping systems required for lasting service in the municipal, water, wastewater, sewage, industrial, construction, petroleum, fire and OEM markets.
