Good Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church

Good Hope is a Lutheran Church serving the community through Christ.

The purpose of the church is to carry out the mission given by Jesus Christ our Lord:   "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you;  and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age."

Matthew 28: 19-20

Good Hope will carry out this mission by:

•By providing a house of worship where the Word of God is preached, taught, and broadcast and where the sacraments are celebrated for the nourishment of all people.

•Actively witnessing of Christ our Savior, and inviting others to share in that witness.

•Developing and deepening the spiritual growth and commitment of members and all others.

•Maintaining a community of faith and concern where all people may be supported and strengthened in times of need.

•Encouraging all people to keep Christ at the center of their lives.

•Equipping and assisting member for Christian service and encouraging them to use the various gifts God has given them to carry out their Christian calling in church, community, and world.
