Hospice of Wyandot County provides specialized care to patients and families facing a life-limiting illness or condition. We treat the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of those we serve through compassionate, individualized care; education, support and encouragement.  At the center of Hospice is the belief that each of us has the right to die pain-free and with dignity, and that our families receive the necessary support during this journey.

Hospice of Wyandot County is an independent, not-for-profit organization and welcomes all patients in need of hospice care, regardless of ability to pay. Wonderful Community support through local fundraising, memorials and private donations assures no patient or family will ever receive a bill from us!

Our support of families and caregivers extends beyond the life of a lost loved one; Hospice provides follow-up support through one-to-one meetings, resource reading, 'Lunch with Friends', and our monthly Support Group.

Along with providing excellent hospice care, we also provide our Community with "Bobby's Books", a program that provides grief support through literature for children dealing with loss (whether a family member, pet, divorce...).  We Honor Veteran's is another Hospice of Wyandot County program that assures we meet the unique needs and support for our Veterans at end of life.  The Hospice Team is available for speaking engagements on numerous topics and are all certified and well-versed on helping individuals and families with having the conversation on end of life wishes and making an Advance Care Plan, including completion of Living Will and Durable Power of Attorney for Healthcare forms.

Since 1978, we have been committed to providing the best care possible to Wyandot County Residents:  Our Team grew up here, lives here, and takes pride in going "above and beyond" with excellent care to our families, friends, classmates and neighbors.
