```Overview```
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Early Intervention Specialist to join our team. As a EI Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing support and guidance to infants and toddlers (birth to three) who have a developmental delay or medical diagnosis that puts them at risk for developing a delay. Using evidence-based practices including parent coaching, focuses intervention on the caregiver's ability to discover learning opportunities that will increase the child's participation and enjoyment in daily routines and ultimately promote the child's development.
```Duties```
- Travel throughout Crawford County (Ohio) to families' homes or other location chosen by the families.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on infant/toddler's specific needs.
- Facilitates growth and development of the infant/toddler in all identified areas of need, including, but not limited to: language/communication; physical/motor development; social/emotional-physical maturation; cognitive development; and adaptive skills.
- Facilitate parent education awareness regarding Early Intervention (EI) and provide evidence based strategies, education and support in areas which will positively impact their child's development.
- Prepares case management contacts, documents case notes and on-going assessments.

Experience/Certification Required:
```Requirements```
- Bachelor's degree (or graduate-level) in Education, Health, Social or Behavioral Science, Social Services, Human Services, or related field as defined by the Department of Developmental Disabilities
- Valid licensure/certification as Early Intervention Specialist through the Department of Developmental Disabilities
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with families of infants/toddlers served
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines
- Required to possess and maintain Ohio driver's license and be insurable
-Successfully complete a physical examination, criminal background check including fingerprints and drug test
- Must be able to bend, stoop, lift and transfer up to 50 pounds with no restriction
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
Career Level: Experience desired, but may enter at entry level.

Salary: $42,016.00 - $62,587.20 per year
